Qnap TS-410U-US Review: I love this device, but I wish I spent the extra hundred bucks for the TS-419U. The 800MHz cpu is fine for simple file serving, but since there is no dedicated RAID processor a RAID-5 array will suck 20% of the CPU cycles. I also bought a TS-410 for this to sync to, but both rsync and their proprietary sync ate up so many cycles it was faster to simply do a flat out copy.If you know Linux and PHP, then this machine can be infinitely flexible.
